Refund & Returns Policy

At EUROPARTS LANKA, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If something isn't right, we're here to help. This policy outlines the conditions under which returns and refunds are accepted.
1. Return Eligibility
You may return a part if:
- Wrong Part Supplied: The part delivered does not match what was quoted and confirmed.
- Defective Part: The part has a manufacturing defect (not damage from installation).
- Damaged in Transit: The part arrived damaged during shipping.
- Incorrect Fitment: The part does not fit your vehicle despite being ordered with correct VIN/specifications.
2. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Installed Parts: Parts that have been fitted to a vehicle, even partially.
- Electrical Components: ECUs, sensors, and electrical parts that have been connected — due to compatibility programming.
- Special Orders: Parts ordered specifically for your vehicle that are not standard stock items, unless defective.
- Fluids & Consumables: Oils, coolants, brake fluid, adhesives, and other consumable products once opened.
- Parts Without Packaging: Parts returned without original packaging and labelling.
- Customer Error: Parts ordered with incorrect specifications provided by the customer (wrong model, year, or engine code).
3. Return Process

- Provide Details: Include your order reference number (e.g., EPL-2026-00042), photos of the part, and reason for return.
- Approval: Our team will review your request and respond within 2 business days.
- Return Shipping: If approved, we will provide return instructions. Return shipping costs:
- Our error (wrong part / defective): We pay return shipping.
- Change of mind (if eligible): Customer pays return shipping.
- Inspection: Upon receipt, the part is inspected to confirm it meets return conditions.
- Refund Issued: Refund processed within 5 business days of inspection approval.
4. Return Window

5. Refund Methods
- Bank Transfer: Refund to the same bank account used for payment. Processed within 5 business days.
- Store Credit: Alternatively, we can issue store credit for future orders (valid 12 months).
- Replacement: We can source and ship the correct part at no additional cost.
Note: Refunds do not include original shipping costs unless the return is due to our error.
6. Warranty Claims
Genuine OEM parts carry the manufacturer's warranty. If a part fails under normal use within the warranty period:
- Contact us with your order reference and description of the failure.
- Provide photos or workshop report confirming the defect.
- We will facilitate the warranty claim with the manufacturer.
- Warranty timelines depend on the manufacturer and part type.
Warranty does not cover: Damage from incorrect installation, accident, misuse, normal wear, or modification.
7. Cancellations
- Before sourcing: Orders can be cancelled with a full refund before the part has been ordered from our supplier.
- After sourcing: Once a part has been ordered from our supplier, cancellation may incur a restocking fee of up to 20% of the part cost.
- In transit: Orders that are already shipped cannot be cancelled. Please follow the return process above.
