My 2014 Polo 1.2 TSI has developed a rattling sound for the first 2-3 seconds on cold start. I've read this is the dreaded timing chain tensioner issue that plagued the EA211 engines.
How urgent is this? Can I drive it until the next service or should I get it sorted immediately? And what's the approximate cost in Sri Lanka for a timing chain kit replacement?
